Mary Baumgardt (1876-1946) was born at Waihola and baptised at Milton. Her godparents were August Orlowski who was a passenger on the Palmerson and Franciszka Klukowski who came to New Zealand on the Terpsichore in 1876.
In 1895 Mary Maud Bangat married Alexander Morrison in Ponsonby, Auckland. The family then settled in Kaitangata where Sandy and Mary are both buried.

Below are the children of Mary and Sandy Morrison. On 22 June 1894, prior to her marriage Mary had son named David Henry Bangat at Caversham and although not acknowledged, within the family, evidence (a birth registration) indicates he was her first son. Was David adopted out to another family?
